JOINING MENSA

You must have scripts allowed to see and use e-mail addresses on this page.

Think you've got what it takes?

To qualify for Mensa, you must score in the top 2% of a recognized, standardized intelligence test.

How to Join

Option 1: - Take a supervised test.
Tests are designed for prospects age 14 and over and are administered by appointment only. For those for whom English is not the primary language, a Culture Free Test may be available. Testing takes about 2 hours and the supervised test fee is $40.00 (paid at the time of testing). For more information about local testing and scheduling, E-mail our Testing Coordinator

Option 2: - Prior Evidence
Already know that you qualify? Submit prior evidence with a test score in the top 2% on any of several standardized tests. Check this link for details. Most public and private schools administer tests which are acceptable for admission. Qualifying test scores should be sent to the National Office with a $40.00 non-refundable evaluation fee.
For a short list of test and qualifying scores click here.
For more information on submitting your prior evidence, click here.

Want to get an idea of how you'd score before you take the real test? Try the Mensa Workout A 30 minute mini-I.Q. sample test just for fun.

Better yet, try the $18 home test to not only get a good idea of how you might score, but also a better idea of what the actual test is like. This test is scored by Mensa to indicate whether or not you might qualify, but will NOT qualify you for Mensa.
